Swedish opera singer Annika Sandberg and Italian pianist Chiara Schmidt makes their album debut as a duo. Both are alumnis from Mozarteum in Salzburg. Ture Rangström’s suite Havets sommar (Summer of the Sea), finalized in 1915, is the first published recording with a Swedish singer. Also included are the three famous songs by Gösta Nystroem based on Ebba Lindqvist’s beautiful lyrics included in his suite Själ och landskap (Soul and Landscape).
