Swedish soprano Anna Jobrant devotes herself entirely to early music. She is a member of Göteborg Baroque and  Swedish Harmony of Voices, but she also performs as a solo artist in oratorios and Baroque operas. Anna has studied with Emma Kirkby among others, and she has a diploma from the Academy of Music and Drama, Göteborg University.

On her debut CD as a solo artist, she has chosen to make a choice of songs from the unique Düben collection at Uppsala University. The collection from the years around 1700 consists of some 2,500 handwritten works of music and more than 120 printed pieces. Many of the pieces in the Düben collection have not been preserved elsewhere, which makes the collection really outstanding. Most of the songs on this CD has never before been recorded.
