Late Romantic Organ Music
Concert organist Jan H Börjesson plays late romantic organ music on the organ found at the parish church in Vinberg. This organ, which was built at the turn of the last century by Kaspar Thorsell and Erik Henrik Erikson, is regarded as one of western Sweden’s finest organs of its kind.

This CD features music by Sigfrid Karg- Elert, Felix Mendelssohn, John Morén, John Stainer, David Wikander, and Otto Olsson, whose piece ”Liten orgelfantasi” (“Small Fantasy for the Organ”) is presented here for the first time.

”In all, a tasteful compilation of organ music performed with insight and discrimination.” Hallandsposten

Recorded in Vinberg Church, Sweden 21-22 June, 2004
Recorded, edited and mastered by Per Sjösten, Sound Processing Studio, Göteborg
